This was sent to a list I belong to and I figured you might be able to use it to help in your biz....
If I didn't follow up - I wouldn't make enough
in a week to take my daughter to McD's for a
happy meal....
Here is how I do it - and I am on the short list
of most disorganized folks - so I'm certain you'll
do much better.
In my email program I have created 5 follow up boxes -
Current, 1 week, 2 week etc. When someone emails me
with a question concern etc. I respond to them, usually
with a CC to me and put both notes in the 1 week follow up
box. I do all my follow ups (usually) on Tuesday morning,
I work on the current box, then move the 1 week to current,
2 weeks to 1 week etc.
In the follow up note I say something like -
Dear prospective kaching :o) - insert real name.
Just a quick follow up note from our conversation on
.............
You had mentioned that you were interested in our
whizbang gizmo. Hopefully we answered your questions,
but if we didn't then please don't hesitate to ask -
you can email us or give us a call @ or let me know
the best time / number to call you.
Sincerely,
etc.
PS. If you've decided the whizbang gizmo isn't for you
then please let us know.
Then move their note / your response to say the 2 or 3
week box.... and write them again.
If you get no response from either of those put them
in the finished box - most folks actually appreciate
your follow ups.
Hope this helps you a bit.
Happy Father's Day !!
We now have two eggs in the nest on our porch, I've been trying to take a picture of the Mama bird, but so far she has been pretty elusive... and she gives me down the road every time that I make a visit.
Also the give away for the Free Mega Blitz we mention below is over.
Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Below are some snapshots as promised -
Anyone Seen my lunch....

Ever have one of those days!
Going Nowhere fast...
Rollercoaster enthusiast in training.
Ok... I need a towel!
We're back in the saddle - and swamped. Swamped is much better than the alternative though. As we get a moment to breath we'll be posting some of our pictures here - I would say that a safe bet would be to watch for them tomorrow morning at the earliest.
Hope everyone has a great Friday.
Yesterday when I posted the bit about the zoo, it didn't post to the web (or maybe it did, I just wasn't able to see it). Since it didn't post I figured that all was lost, and I would work on posting the things after vacation.... well it did post.. go figure.
Todays agenda is a trip to King's Island - it should be a lot of fun. We did get wet yesterday during a brief shower and it's supposed to rain some today, but maybe that will help to keep the crowds down.
Maybe I'll get some pictures uploaded tonight... but who knows what time we'll be back... oh one more thing - if you add comments anywhere to these listings we'll enter your name in a drawing for a Mega Blitz Promotion package - or if you're an existing customer we'll upgrade your current package to the next higher one... just add your comments - make sure to put your name, email address where we can contact you and your URL....
Have fun today!!
We made it to the zoo and had a blast - we're at the hotel and getting ready to go take a dip in the pool :o) - we'll post some zoo pictures and comments later on this evening.
Do you ever wake up in the morning and realize that you are really glad that you have a business - after you get a big order doesn't count :o) This morning I think I realized just how blessed I am. I truly love what I do and many people can't say that... anyway we're off to the zoo.
Hope you have a wonderful day !!
Ahh the joys of getting ready for a road trip...
Did I send everybody a note?
Did I forget something?
Is my laptop ready?
I think I'm ready :o) tomorrow we'll be departing early in the morning... so the next post will be from our Hotel room, and hopefully we'll have some nice zoo pictures to show you.
Something else interesting, I live in the hills in SE Ky., sometimes I feel like I am in the Wild Kingdom, which is good. We have rabbits, squirrels, owls, etc. Anyway a young wren has decided to build a nest on our front porch - inside of a plant... below is a picture of the nest - no eggs yet, but hopefully soon.

This is a test of the very first blog - and hey folks if I can do it, then so can you. The only problem I came across while setting it up was that our server didn't have some of the modules. So the best thing to do is print out the instructions and follow them step by step. As always any other snags we run across we'll be sure to post them....
Have a great Sunday!!
